23.09.2011: Update of the country profiles Austria, Bulgaria, Hungary and Slovenia

In the RES LEGAL database the information on the support scheme and grid issues in Austria, Bulgaria, Hungary and Slovenia has been analysed and amended.

17.08.2011: Update of the country profiles Finland, Lithuania, Malta, Portugal, Sweden and Spain.

Another group of countries have been updated on the RES LEGAL database: the information on support schemes and grid issues were revised for Finland, Malta, Portugal and Spain. In Finland a complete new support scheme has been introduced. Moreover, information on support schemes in Sweden and on grid issues in Lithuania has been amended. With this, the whole Baltic Sea region is up to date.

27.07.11: Update of the country profiles Greece, Lithuania, Latvia and United Kingdom

In the RES LEGAL database the information on the support scheme in Lithuania has been updated. Moreover, the information on grid issues in Greece, Latvia and the United Kingdom has been analysed and amended.

16.05.2011: Update of the RES LEGAL database

The complete update of the RES LEGAL database continues. After analysing the most recent legal sources, following RES support scheme profiles have been updated and placed at your disposal: Cyprus, Estonia, Greece, Latvia, Romania, Sweden, and UK. Following country profiles have also been updated with the current grid issues for renewable energy sources: Cyprus, Estonia, and Sweden. Furthermore, we added the Italian premium tariff “Conto Energia IV”, which came into force just last week.

Data protection

Privacy policy:

The BMU is committed to protect your personal data and strictly complies with data protection laws. In the event that we do collect personal or business data like e-mail addresses, names and addresses about you when visiting our database, this information is only collected on a voluntary basis. If technically possible and reasonable, you may access all information offered on this website without indicating such data or by indicating anonymised data or a pseudonym. On no account will the BMU sell your data or share it with third persons. Your data will be treated as confidential and will be used only for the purposes they were collected for.

The BMU explicitly points out that the transfer of data via e-mail may not be secure. Your data cannot be fully protected against unauthorised access by third parties. If necessary, please consider using a different means of communication.

Third parties may not send unsolicited information to any contact person mentioned in "About RES LEGAL". In cases of violations of our anti-spam policy, we expressly reserve the right to take legal steps against the originators of spam.

Storage of personal data:

For reasons of data security, every access to a BMU website is stored in a log file on our web-server for up to 2 hours. After this period, the data are anonymised and archived as a code of letters and numbers, which is automatically and randomly assigned, for up to 6 months.

The following data are stored in the log file:

  • name of the file accessed
  • date and time of access
  • amount of data transferred
  • notice, if transfer of data was successful
  • IP address of the provider (anonymised within 2 hours)

We do not use any cookies or other methods that would allow us to trace the data access patterns of our users. The log file data are not added to other data that we may be holding on you.

Direct access to your data via the IP numbers recorded in the log file is not possible. The IP address is tracked only in cases of attacks against the internet infrastructure of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, of offences against public morals and of other illegal actions related to the use of the website. Only your access provider may use your IP address to identify you after the police or the state attorney has initiated preliminary proceedings.

If a requested information service requires your data to be stored, they are stored only for the time necessary to fulfil the purpose for which the data were collected. After a service has ended or after the user has unsubscribed from an information service (e.g. mailing list), the personal data are irrevocably deleted after a maximum of 6 weeks.

Cookies:

The usage of the database is possible to the full extent without using cookies.

Right of access to personal data:

As a user of the database provided by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, you have the right to access information on the kind and extent of personal data collected when you accessed the website. You can claim this right at any time. Information is free of charges and is given on request and to the extent of information requested. To access your personal data please contact the Data Protection Officer of the Ministry for the Environment.
