Help

RES LEGAL provides a variety of information on eligibility criteria and grid issues for electricity from renewable sources. You can choose from a range of search options to refine your search according to your needs.

In order to render your search fast and efficient, you can choose from three search options:

  • Search for countries
  • Search for support schemes and grid issues
  • Search assistant

1. Choose the "search for countries" function to systematically access information on a single country and proceed from a general overview to more detailed information by following the database structure mentioned above (hierarchical search). This search option is useful if you want to become familiar with the contents of the database or to conduct a well-structured research on a country, as every search level is based on the previous one.

2. Searching for support schemes and grid issues enables you to compare support schemes and grid issues in different countries. To search for support schemes and grid issues select one of the support measures or a grid issue from the list. The search results will be displayed as a list of the countries that have implemented the selected support measure or have introduced regulations in the selected area of the grid issues.

3. Using the search assistant is a quick way to find out how a subject of your choice is handled in different countries. To start the assistant, please choose the countries you would like to compare by clicking on them. Subsequently, please select one of the three main areas of research ("support schemes", "grid issues " and "legal sources") and refine your search as described above. The assistant immediately shows your search results.
